I'm Olivia, an expert wordsmith and eclectic geek. A deep passion for creating meaning with words sweeps through my day-to-day life (especially if it involves a fantastical setting and characters with plenty of emotion and heart that I can fall in love with). When I was 8, I remember doing a project in elementary where we had to research a career we were interested in. I went to my local library with my mom and ended up stumbling across a book about editors. And…I pretty much became obsessed. Wanting to see how editing worked in action, I asked my friend’s older sister to edit the book I’d been writing. I ended up keeping her edits and my dreams all the way into college where I geared my English classes around editing and creative writing courses.

Now, I hold a Bachelor of Arts in English and have 5+ years of editing experience. I am also a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers & Illustrators (SCBWI) and often attend events and conferences throughout the year to develop my writing and editing skills and stay informed on the state of publishing.

Don’t worry, as you can see, I’ve spent hours researching publishing, attending writing conferences, and connecting with authors and agents so I can help you achieve your publishing dreams. I love what I do and all of the amazing writers and authors I work for.

When I'm not spending time with my family, I can often be found working on my middle grade fantasy novels, playing D&D with friends, binging the latest anime on Crunchyroll, or playing with my 3 kids and golden retriever.
